ABOUT SANDY ACRES SIMMENTAL
Sandy Acres Simmental began with the first calves born in 1971 and has grown into one of Nebraska's premier Simmental operations. Owners Leonard Miller and Melanie Miller calves about 110 cows each spring and holds an annual bull sale each February.
The cowherd is primarily pure bred Polled Simmental red and black, though it does produce some F1 Simmental-Angus calves and has a few full Flekvieh cows. With high-demand sires, King Pin, Zero Gravity and Deep Rock, the Sandy Acres Simmental herd are some of the most in-demand bulls sold in the Plains region. |
